PREVENT + PROMOTE + PROTECT

Immunization Programs

Even though most infants and toddlers in the United States have received all recommended vaccines by age 2,

many under-immunized children remain, creating the possibility of disease outbreaks.  Caregivers, teens, and adults who

have not had all of their immunizations are at risk for getting diseases as well as passing them on to children under age 2.

Crawford County Public Health strives to improve and sustain immunizations for the county’s families by offering

vaccinations and information about the safety and importance of timely immunizations.

We accept most major health insurances.  No child is turned away for Vaccines for Children (VFC) vaccines if their family

is unable to afford the shots.
